… is the interim police chief in Oakland, CA. And a military-grade, category A, first class shithead. 

Look at his face! I call this brilliant photojournalism, you can see the moment he realizes he’s a fascist. Whoops, mah bad, just repressing the dirty peasants.

And, this isn’t even the Head Asshat In Charge. That title goes to Jean Kwon, mayor of Oakland, CA. She has been under investigation for all sorts of crap. I recommend a you take a google at that name thar.

The story is, that on the 25th, the POLICE clashed with protesters in Oakland, CA. (Because I needed to look it up, Oakland is a city with a football team right next to San Francisco. There you go). But note the order. The kindest of mainstream media will always say that PROTESTERS clashed with POLICE.

The Police Chief said that the police reacted to having bottles thrown at them. Poor police. These guys are, by the way, wearing suits of bulletproof armor.

So obviously, these guys are in a life and death senario. All alone, backed into a corner, unarmed and threatened, they had no choice. Numbering in the hundreds. Surrounding the protesters. Armed with tear gas, clubs, riot shields, flash grenades and RUBBER BULLETS.

Now, the Police Chief denies using rubber bullets, but people have large sores and welts that could not have been caused otherwise, and people have actually found rubber bullets lying in the street. Nice try, asshole.

..is worth a watch. It’s a video of riot police throwing a flash grenade into a crowd of people attempting to help a man hit in the face with a tear gas canister. This man was later taken to a hospital, but this would seem to be the police attempting to stop people trying to provide medical assistance. 

The tear gas canister in question would be illegal, by the way, in a war.

These police attack medical personel, lie about what weapons they use, and use weapons that would be banned in a warzone. All in the name of denying people their first amendment rights. In the name of keeping the 99% from governing themselves. To fight against democracy. 

I have never thought of class warfare as anything but a metaphor. But this is a real war. The man hit with the tear gas canister has a fractured skull and brain swelling, and is currently in critical condition. And this war isn’t being fought by the rules any more than the metaphorical economic war has been fought by the rules.

And in both instances, real and metaphorical, class war is only one sided.
